It is just 8Km from the Golden Temple and 7 km from Airport. Speaking of Golden Temple, let us guide you through some of the top tourist places that you got to visit while your stay in Amritsar. Of course one of them has to be our resort, SaddaPind. But we are here to guide you to some of the other places to be added to your checklist for sure.

Golden Temple:

You have heard about it more than enough. Also called Sri Harmandir Sahib, this temple was primarily designed by Guru Arjan Sahib and the foundation is laid by the Muslim Saint Hazrat Mian Mir Ji. This establishment has its ground on 1st December 1588 and ever since became a crucial point of visit for all the Punjabis, around the world.

Wagah Border:

This border is mainly the road between India and Pakistan. It is one famous tourist spot these days because of the beating retreat ceremony taking place every day just before sunset. Around 5000 people are seen to visit this border and be a major part of this ceremony. The flag ceremony is conducted along with so many other services. So, if you are ever in Amritsar, set one day aside for this trip.

Jallianwala Bagh:

If you are a history buff like most others, then a visit to Jallian Wala Bagh will surely complete this trip of yours. This place is known for its great historical importance, mainly during the Indian struggle for Independence. Also known as a public garden, this place houses a memorial of national importance. It was established by the Indian government in 1951 for commemorating the massacre of peaceful celebrations.

Guru Ke Mahal:

This place houses the Granth Sahib and their gurus. It was founded by Guru Ram Das in the year 1573 and was noted as a little cottage for sheltering some of the great gurus of the Sikh community.

There are so many other tourist spots in Amritsar to be added to your travelling list. But for that comfortable stay, our SaddaPind is always open for you. Just book our suite beforehand and we might help you in creating the perfect travel package as well!
